Through the implementation of our youth programs we enable young people to participate in various activities during their free time, to improve, informally educate, discover, explore, and train. At the same time we offer them financial, material and infrastructural resources, to express themselves and be creative in different fields.
Our priority areas will include the sphere of informal education, volunteering, researching and international youth work, of informing and advising as well as participation of the young in the company, plus their awareness of human rights and active citizenship.
Involving young people in all these areas will have a positive impact on enhancing their competence, enable their creative and artistic freedom, help in the search for identity and give them a sense of autonomy. At the same time, MKC will also provide mentoring assistance with preparation and execution of various projects and provide adequate specialist training for activity in different areas on local, national and international levels, along with the fact, that this gained experience may be useful in finding work and employment.
Beside the organisation of cultural, educational events, lectures and other events on its own premises or elsewhere, we will take care to increase the involvement of the young in our programs and encourage their active participation in the wider environment. We will inform them about the youth activities and accentuate the current problems.
As part of our operation, we will continue to carry out those activities, which are open to young people with fewer opportunities. These will give them the chance, to draw attention to themselves and to the problems they face, and then together we will seek solutions and possibilities for a more qualitative and better everyday life.
Our mission is therefore, to give young people an opportunity to use their ingenuity and initiative, along with our help, to gain a broad range of skills and experiences as a good rationale on the way to the adult world.
