Project description	“Youth Tourism Infrastructure – the Office Building” is an investment project, which will be carried out at the site of the “Pekarna cultural zone”. The project will establish complete support in the area of ​​infrastructural support for youth work, a cultural programme in the field of youth culture and related activities, youth tourism, programme of lifelong learning and mobility of the young as well as intercultural exchange practices.
Project objectives	The objectives are to establish an appropriate youth tourism infrastructure and further an infrastructure for the implementation of youth programs. The project will increase capacity in the field of improved mobility of young people and provide the conditions for an increased volume of informal education programmes. The project will enable a higher quality of work and raise the quality of the programmes implemented. It will increase social cohesion between young people in the local and regional environment and facilitate networking between the governmental and non-governmental sectors.
Expected results	The project will provide increased recognition of youth and cultural programmes and a greater involvement of young people in youth work. The extent and quality of programmes in the area of youth work and youth culture will increase. The number of international programmes and projects will be greater and more partners from the field of youth work will be involved. The project will enable the implementation of lasting youth programmes and youth cultural programmes. The investment project will allow for greater participation of young people in the project Maribor – EKP 2012. An increased recognition of Maribor and the surrounding area as a tourist destination will be guaranteed.

Estimated value of the investment amounts to € 1,892,830.75, of which net of VAT € 1,577,358.96, the VAT value is € 315,471.79.
The total eligible costs of the operation under the CBA amount to € 1,242,208.79, the total eligible public expenditure amounts to € 800,000.00, the share of contribution of the Community in aggregated eligible public expenditure amounts to 85% or € 680,000.00, the share of aggregated eligible public expenditure of total eligible costs of the operation is 64.40%.

Operation »Investment in Youth Tourism Infrastructure – the Office Building« is partially funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund as well as the Ministry of Education and Sport of the Republic of Slovenia, in the framework of the Operational Programme for Strengthening Regional Development Potential for the period from 2007 to 2013. Development priorities: Integration of natural and cultural resources, development orientation. Raising the competitiveness of the touristic economy. The implementation of the client’s project »Investment in Youth Tourism Infrastructure – the Office Building « will be co-funded in the amount of € 800,000.00, as follows: 85% of eligible project costs from ESRR-EU funds in the amount of 680,000.00 EUR and 15% of eligible project costs from ESRR – SLO funds (Slovenian participation) in the amount of € 120,000.00.
